[gnome 3.16] GDM touchpad problem

Hi all!

I've upgraded to Gnome 3.16.
Most things work perfect, but I have a problem with gdm.

If I log in with gdm 3.16 my elantec touchpad gets stuck.
Reloading "psmouse" module solves the problem and my touchpad is working again.

If I downgrade only gdm to 3.14 the touchpad works.
If I use lightdm for login the touchpad works.
Meanwhile I also tried Gnome 3.16 on my testsystem on the same machine...there I don't have any touchpad problem.

At the moment I don't really have an idea where to search for the problem.
All suggestions are welcome...

Thank's a lot, DX

Same here.
Elantech touchpad does not work for me with wayland backend but it works with xorg backend.

Also an issue for the xf86-input-cmt-xorg chromium input driver when loading the X session.

How do you reload your module @DoubleX667 ?

Can't it be a problem with libinput?

Re: [gnome 3.16] GDM touchpad problem

@joebonrichie   I reload the module via

modprobe -r psmouse      and     modprobe psmouse

@DoctorJellyface
I also thought it has something to do with the changed libinput and maybe there is the problem.
But, at the moment, I can reproduce it by changing the version of gdm. So it has something to do with a combination of gdm and libinput?
