Pdf form -- too large font

Hi,

I'd like to fill a pdf form with atril. Unfortunatelly it uses so huge fonts, that some of the letters are actually lolling out of the box. Do you have any idea how to change the fontsize?

Or any alternatives? Acrobat Reader works fine, but I'd rather not use it, since it cannot save the filled form. I've already played around with inkscape, but that's more like avoiding the problem, than solving it smile

Thanks!

Re: Pdf form -- too large font

When filling out form I usually switch between atril/evince and Okular (and if neither of them works I fallback to adobe reader on windows..). This largely depends on the document you fill out.
Unfortunately I didn't come across a good solution to that problem in the linux world.

I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do.  (Gune | Titan A.E.)

Re: Pdf form -- too large font

That's so disappointing! Thanks anyway.

What do you think what could be the actual reason? I mean, it is certainly possible somehow to write a good code for it... What makes acroread on windows so much superior? Or does it have to do something with closed source fonts used in pdfs?

I'd say it's mainly because most 'official' pdf forms are created using adobe products which are mostly compatible with adobe products wink

I do the same as dice, in that I try it with various PDF readers (and a web browser if I'm pushing out the boat) to see if they'll work.

Don't know about saving the completed form, because I tend to fill them in and then PDF print it and print to a printer.

And I'd say it's something to do with Adobe being Adobe.
