My Canon LBP6710i printer (It is a Japanese model and so poorly supported) is not working with CUPS. I have followed the instructions on the wiki to try to get it working, including installing the Canon packages from the AUR, but that has not worked. The drivers are only made available as RPM and DEB, and trying to extract the drivers from the .deb package and put them in the CUPS directory simply resulted in some bad errors while printing. Is there any way to get around this problem?
