Can’t boot UEFI system from gummibooot, although GRUB works

I’m trying to switch my UEFI system from GRUB to Gummiboot (or maybe to booting without a bootloader).

I installed Gummiboot according to the wiki, I can start it and boot both my windows partition and the uefi shell (Tianocore EDK2) from it, but when I select Arch, the screen stays black and nothing happens.

I’ve run out of ideas and hope you can help me.
