Hi,
I'm trying to get the "onboard" on-screen keyboard to work in "lightdm", more specifically the "lightdm-gtk-greeter" since it has little dependencies. By setting "keyboard=onboard" in "/etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf", I am able to start onboard through the accessibility menu in lightdm (and this seems to be the key step to set up onboard for lightdm as pointed out in several how-tos). However, pressing buttons in onboard doesn't seem to generate any keystrokes, i.e. I am unable to enter my password. Do I have to configure something else to allow the virtual keyboard to generate keystrokes in the login screen?
onboard version 1.1.1-2
lightdm version 1.14.0-1
lightdm-gtk-greeter version 2.0.0-2

Use the same launchpad branch to install lightdm-gtk-greeter as described in this bug (PKGBUILD provided):
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/43999
This is known bug, but 2.0.1 version is delayed a bit.
