Hi guys I'm trying to play LoL but can't seem to get any sound.
I tried going to the wine config and setting my audio output to the correct port (HDMI 2).
Before it used to work for one game then would cut out but now I don't seem to get any sound at all..
I think I read somewhere that playonlinux doesn't work with pulse, is that true? Would I just have to use wine?

Yes use normal wine, it works better anyway, you have to use a win32 prefix and set your OS for LoL to WinXP.
But the problem of PoL and pulse was a complete crash with 32bit versions, if that doesn't happen something else is your issue. Do you have all opt-depends of wine installed? Especially lib32-alsa-plugins and pulseaudio-alsa are needed here, and switch to (system default) in winecfg. (If you get sound but it's crackling you may have to prepend the call with PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC like so:
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 wine lol.launcher.exeEdit your League of Legends/Config/game.cfg and add x3d_platform=1 to the [General] section so that the game uses OGL instead of directx which will give you a performance boost

I ran LoL + PoL + Pulse successfully in the past. If the above suggestion of installing lib32-libpulse doesn't fix it, run PoL in a terminal and post the log here. Otherwise we're just poking shit in the dark.
