nVidia GTX 760 gets no audio out through HDMI

Brand-new build, GTX 760 connected to an HDMI port on a TV. Video looks/works great, no audio. nvidia-beta driver (and all the trimmings).
HDMI output is NOT listed from aplay:

Is it possible that the driver simply doesn't support HDMI audio at the currnet time?

Any update on this? I have the same issue with a GTX 970

Go into bios and disable integrated hda audio. That fixed my problem. Both the motherboard and the video card wanting to be the audio card made some kind of trouble. Try
