Problems with Elantech trackpad G750JW

I have been having issues with the trackpad on my Asus G750JW.  The physical buttons do not work and I am not sure how to fix it. I have tried various synaptics settings and reinstalling drivers and such.

xinput outputs:

Re: Problems with Elantech trackpad G750JW

In mercy's name *PLEASE* edit your post and get rid of  that giant highlighted wall of text.   Use BBCode code tags around file contents and program output.  It will use a monospaced font so columns will line up, and you will have a nice scroll bar for the long passages.  Use separate code tags around each file.

Thank you.
The Management.

Edit:  I see you were editing as I was posting.  Please use code tags instead of quote tags smile

Re: Problems with Elantech trackpad G750JW

Sorry I am still new to this forum so I am trying to figure out the formatting still.  I will go ahead and change to code tags.
Edit: Fixed it.  I hope I did not burn your eyes to bad while figuring out the formatting.

Re: Problems with Elantech trackpad G750JW

Are you sure they really are physical buttons, or does the touch surface actually extend into that area?  Some trackpads just have pictures of buttons and are handled as touch events.  Others really do have physical switches.

Are you sure they really are physical buttons, or does the touch surface actually extend into that area?  Some trackpads just have pictures of buttons and are handled as touch events.  Others really do have physical switches.

They are physical buttons, the touch surface end at the top of the buttons. Here is the link to the Newegg listing if that helps: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6834231333
