Random crashes of I/O

Hi,

I have an ASUS Zenbook UX305 (Intel HD 5500 integrated graphics card, 128G SSD) running on kernel 3.19.3 and i3wm.

Every so often, it seems my I/O gets completely trashed. I can trigger this behaviour consistently by suspending and waking up again, but it happens at other times as well. When this happens I cannot run anymore commands:

$ ls
bash: ls: command not found
$ dmesg
/usr/bin/dmesg: Input/Output error

The WM doesn't crash but is unusable and when I switch tty's, there is a nonending stream of error messages being output, preventing me from logging in to the tty:

...[systemd.journald]: Failed to write entry ... read-only filesystem ...

That's all I can make of this error because it is scrolling away so fast and I can't find it in any of my logs...

I have not found any other relevent errors in the systemd journal, dmesg or xorg logs, but I can post them if it would be helpful. Otherwise I don't really know where to start looking, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
