[SOLVED] free calculating available ram wrong?

Hey there,

because it might be a very simple (noob) question I'm posting it here:
On my notebook with 8GB ram, free -m puts out:

total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 7898 986 134 110 6777 6539
Swap: 8102 122 7980

So... Everything looks fine - at first. total = used + free + buff/cache is true, as it should be, but total = used + available is false. There are ~373 MB missing...
Is this a bug? A feature? I thought I knew what free displays o.o

Not all caches are droppable, thus the recent addition of "available".
