x220 Intel Backlight with FN key

After a recent system upgrade I can't change my backlight using the FN keys under gnome-shell anymore. Echoing values manually into /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness, however, works fine.

I have GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor", which used to work fine.

There are other kernel parameters you can experiment with:

Re: x220 Intel Backlight with FN key

hey ScaN0, yeah that was working but no longer works with for me with kernel 4.3.3-2-ARCH.

For now I wrote a little script to handle it.

Do you have and x220?  Is it working for you?  Which kernel are you using?
