I would like to make a video of Linux running in VirtualBox. The sound inside the VirtualBox works fine. As well as outside. However when I try to record with SimpleScreenRecorder I have no sound. This seems to be because either my main system or the VM can occupy the sound card but not both. Here is the warning I get when I record before starting the VM
The virtual machine execution may run into an error condition as described below. We suggest that you take an appropriate action to avert the error.
Some audio devices (PCM_in, PCM_mic) could not be opened. Guest applications generating audio output or depending on audio input may hang. Make sure your host audio device is working properly. Check the logfile for error messages of the audio subsystem.
Error ID: HostAudioNotResponding
Severity: WarningHow do I have to set things up to record the system speakers? And hear audio that comes from the VM as well as from the main system in one take.
