I was installing base-devel so I could run makepkg when I lost power. I didn't know which packages I needed out of the group so I just installed/reinstalled all of them, and now looking at the list, it looks like losing power while installing most of them can seriously mess things up, and now my system won't boot any further than GRUB.
I attempted to repair my installation by booting off a cd and reinstalling the packages. Packman prompted me to delete its lock file if it wasn't running, so I did. Then when I attempted to reinstall I got a bunch of errors that in general look like:
flex: /an/adress/here.file exists in filesystem
Errors occured, no packages were upgraded.
Help would be greatly apreciated.
Edit: I do have the filesystem mounted, I am connected to the internet, and I have chrooted to the mount directory.
