GTK+ QT4 theme issue

Ok so.. I'm trying to make skype/vlc/chrome etc etc match the gnome 3 dark theme and I have a GTK2 theme for it

My problem is it doesn't save I guess? I've used 3 different GTK2 theme selectors and none seem to really work right
they change my gtkrc-2.0 file but don't do anything

So qtconfig isn't going to help me much if I can't set my theme in the first place :s

any ideas ?

Here is what the gtkrc-2.0 text looks like..and my theme

qtconfig-qt4 can help you. You can find it in the AUR.
