My root password and normal passwords do not work. I don't what happen and cant seem to fix it. I enter my password and it boots back to the login screen did it several times before I ctrl alt f2, from there I entered my password again told me it was incorrect I tried to log in as root it told me it was incorrect.
I then booted from the live usb I created entered,
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
arch-chroot /mnt
passwrd
enter new unix password: testing
exit
umount /mnt
reboot
Then I confirmed the password rebooted the system and had the same issue my root passowrd didn't work. I was able to get back into my masstumor account by booting from the live usb entered
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
nano /etc/sddm.conf
and added the lines
[Autologin]
User=masstumor
Session=plasma.desktop
exit
umount /mnt
reboot
Even in the konsole it tells me the password is incorrect. Is there another way I can repair this without reinstalling.
Edit: Fixed it problem was my keymap, somehow it got changed. I switched it back and was able to fix the accounts back.
