google-chrome (aur) launch bar icon missing

Hi!
I install google-chrome from aur, but missing window-icon (xfce + tint2). How fix this?

By getting rid of google-chrome? There's really no reason to use it over chromium.

Same here.  Well, I have both Chromium and Google Chrome installed. With either one started up, I'm now seeing only that same generic icon for the running app, in the Window Buttons area of the Xfce panel. Like what's described here: https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=9609

Well, there is one reason: the built-in flash player. While flash is probably a dying technology it's still needed on many websites. And the PPAPI flash player is more secure than the NPAPI flash player as it's running in a sandbox. You could, of course, run Chromium with the pepperflash package from the AUR but since the latter downloads Chrome in order to extract the flash player, this means twice the download size with every update. Simply too much if you have a slow internet line ...

Latest update from aur fix this problem

Yes i prefer google-chrome because built-in flash player, pdf, and other plugin. WIth chromium aur pepperflash i have past time 90% cpu bug and crash. Imho is more secure and tested.

The pdf plugin is part of chromium now. The only plugins in chrome missing from chromium are pepper-flash and widevine, both available in the AUR.

As for a bug, it's the same plugin.

I can confirm that the latest update to Chromium (43.0.2357.81-1) fixes the issue mentioned by the OP.

Well. But now, it happen to me. Not only google chrome. Android studio also. Don't know what happen

It's been five years, it's highly unlikely to impossible this still has the same cause.
