What happend to xfprint? [solved]

Why is there no xfprint in the official repository's or AUR?

The only thing i could find was:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=122096

which led me to a page, which contained this link:
http://foo-projects.org/pipermail/xfce/ … 28644.html

which, doesn't work. i installed cups and sane, but i really need xfprint (or alternative for my xfce4 desktop environment)

Could anyone please provide some instructions? Or a link to a post which solves this problem will be more then enough

Thank you for your trouble and time in advance

Try this link: https://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce/20 … 28661.html

Why do you think you need xfprint? By the sounds of it, it was virtually useless even when it was packaged.

If you want to manage your printer queue, then you can simply enter localhost:631 via your favourite web browser. Here you should find actually almost everything as far as printing is concerned.

I thought xfprint was the system settings applet for printer. I discovered that i needed system-config-printer. And needed gutenprint to connect to my network printer

Sorry guys i wasted your time.
