Xfce4 Viber Tray Icon Missing

I was googling a long time and still could not find the solution for this problem. Some solutions were for Ubuntu-based systems...
So I am using Arch linux with Xfce4 enviroment and I need viber icon to show up in tray next to skype and other icons. How do I do that?

Re: Xfce4 Viber Tray Icon Missing

I notice that Viber is a QT5 application.  The system tray icon in QT5 has not been playing well with XFCE and MATE.  Those are two DE's that I know of, there are probably more.  Dropobox has had the same problem since it ported over to QT5.

If my assumption is correct you do have an icon, just not in the tray.  It will be at the very upper left corner of the screen (screen coordinate 0,0) and hidden behind whatever you have there.  If Viber has the ability to show balloon messages you'll see one pop up there when it is triggered. It is a pesky bug as it does not show up all the time, just most of the time.  If you stop and then start the QT5 application several times you may eventually get your icon where it belongs.
