Nvidia and 32 bit depth color

Hii, My screen support 32 bit color, and I want to use it insted of 24, but when doing so on Xorg.conf, Nvidia gives me an erorr when trying to run X, any one saw that and know what I can do?

heh? I've never met a 32 bit option in there!

well, at least not the way I configure mine...
But isn't 24 bit enough? I just wonder...

24 bit and 32 bit color depths have the same number of colors; the extra 8 bits are for alpha. So don't worry about color quality or anything, they're nearly the same wink

FWIW, 16-bit color may cause things to take up a noticable red tint on X11. I haven't tried it with Xorg 7, but I expect that it still holds true.
