Suggestion for non-interactive news ticker for large screen TV
We have a large screen TV in the office that used to run a windows based application that would display the time and show some news tickers throughout the day. I'm looking for suggestions for a Linux program that will do just that so that passersby in the lobby can look up and be mildly entertained. The thing is that it needs to be non-interactive in that it just displays the data and time (or other info). Thanks all.

Whip something up in html/javascript and stick a full screen web browser on it.
