[SOLVED] Chromium freezes when minimizing it from full screen

I just installed Arch.

When clicking on the dash to minimize chromium, if chromium is full screen, everything gets frozen. I can't alt+tab out of chromium or click anything. If I ctrl+F2 and killall chromium, the screen becomes a mess of broken characters until I switch back with ctrl+F1 (and then I can switch again to ctrl+F2 and everything is normal).

Everything else about chromium seems to work fine.

I'm using proprietary amd drivers and openbox.

EDIT: I just noticed I get some errors in the console:

$ chromium

I get the last two lines after the crash.

EDIT 2: I went to chrome://settings, disabled hardware accelleration at the bottom, and now it doesn't freeze anymore.

I was having what seems to be the same problem. I just tried this and it worked. Hopefully it helps someone else. Also thank you very much because that was quite annoying.
