Hi all,
I've been having this serious problem for quite a while. My computer randomly freezes when I watch videos from various websites, including youtube. About once a day or two, when I watch a video the computer freezes completely, some leds blink, and the sound loops over the last 2 seconds of whatever was heard. There is no way to kill X or reboot, other than hard reset. Not even the magic sysReq key works.
The problem happens even when I use the HTML5 player in youtube, so I doubt it has to do with flash. It also happens to both firefox and chromium.
I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas would be appreciated.
EDIT: I never gave the specs. It's a Dell inspiron 1525 with 4GB of ram and intel core 2 duo T810 at 2.10Hz. My graphics cars is intel. More details:

Probably not related, but what's the your memory usage in these situations? Perhaps keep an htop instance open on the side?
