Thunderbird version outdated in Official repository

Hello, everyone! I wish somebody could tell me why thunderbird version in official repository is so outdated.
Newest version provided by Mozilla is 38.0.1
But the version in Arch repositories is 31.7.0-1. That's an obvious lag behind!
I'm complaining this because I found the 31.7.0-1 version don't have some features I need. Most notably Rich Text Edit is not present in 31.7.0-1

Newest version provided by Mozilla is 38.0.1

And in fact the latest version available in the [extra] repo is 38.0.1

$ pacman -Ss thunderbird
extra/thunderbird 38.0.1-1 [installed]
    Standalone Mail/News reader

How/when did you update your system?

version 38.0.1 is in the repos right now.  Upgrade your system.

victl, looking at your post time it seems you may be using a mirror that is slow with updating.
I suggest you verify it's status.

Install reflector is my advise for finding a fresh mirror:

This is not a lag. The last stable version before 38.0.1 was 31.7.0. Everything between was alpha and beta.

Thank you for all the repliers! It turns out that 38.0.1 was released on June 11,2015. Just 4 days before this post. The mirror of my choice is now updated.
