Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

You have a non-EFI system so you should be able to generate a GRUB menu entry for Windows with:

# pacman -S os-prober
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

Please read How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

Your posts are unintelligble. What is "the [ Pacman ] Order"? What errors?

Then, when you have read that thoroughly, post in English without all the ridiculous emoticons: this isn't <insert stupid social network here>.

If you read the wiki page on wireless, you may learn something else today.

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

You've my word that I'll read that page but, until then, all that I'm trying to do here is to Find a Solution. That's all!... And by the way, I have been reading the Wiki Page since 24 hours ago when the problem started.
So, after entering " pacman -S os-prober " and typing Y to Proceed with installation, I've got this : http://oi62.tinypic.com/2ilfoya.jpg

I get that you want to find a solution, but on the Arch forums we expect people to do their homework before asking and take an active role in helping to solve the problem, things that are not clear from your post. So please, read that page ASAP so you can restructure your post to get to a solution quicker.

If you read what it says, it is pretty clear that you don't have a working connection to the internet. Fix that first. Also, please do not post pictures of terminal output, but post the actual text (in code tags) so it is readable.

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

Thanks for telling @runical...
It's just that I have already wasted a lot of time on this. And I've already declared that I'm not sure that my Wifi Connection is working anyway. So, if anyone could help me again with How to Activate it from inside Linux...

Just excuse my very Newbie Question but, I couldn't do better than that...

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

Okay, so let's back down a bit. You managed to install Arch on your system via the beginners guide, right? In order to install, you need to have a working internet connection. Assuming you don't have a network cable lying around, you set up the wifi on the installation medium. Just do that again to restore your internet connection. In case you DO have a cable and access to the router, just plug that in and you should be up and running quickly.

After you get that working, you can try the commands Head_on_a_Stick gave (assuming you don't have UEFI and use GRUB). If you have UEFI, you should take a look in the BIOS/UEFI software.

EDIT: Can you also post the output of

uname -a

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

While installation I've have used the Command

wifi-menu

but, now I can't access it until the "dialog" is installed. And, in order to do that I still need an Internet Connection.  so, I guess I'll try somehow to get a Router next to the PC and Connect it directly...

This was an extrememly rude comment.  I know it wasn't meant to be - but take some time to think about what your words mean to other people.  What JasonWRyan and others were suggesting would not be a waste of time - it would be time well spent.  You were being provided with the guidance that you need to solve your problem.  But you either ignored that guidance or thought you could defer it until after you magically fix your problem.  And in doing this you made it so that all the people in this thread trying to help you were wasting a lot of their time.

There is no magic fix.  But there is most definitely a fix.  It's actually pretty easy.  But you must follow the advice given.  We are not paid to be here to help you.  Everyone here volunteers their time to help others.  If you are accustomed to having people cater to your desires and serve you, then you will be in for a rude awakening here.  We will help, but you must participate in that.

PS - you should give Runical a lot of thanks.  He has stuck with trying to help you despite you making it challenging to do so.

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

Edit as root file /etc/grub.d/40_custom - at the end add that contents:

menuentry "Windows" {
insmod part_msdos
insmod ntfs
set root='(hd0,msdos1)'
chainloader +1
}

Update Grub2 config file:

su -c 'grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg'

Reboot your computer.

You can also boot with your livecd and then install dialog (mount your partitions and chroot into your system).
If you have another distribution, another computer, etc..  you can download the package and install it with # pacman -U.

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

I was just about to give him my Deepest Loyal and Honest Thanks ! ... so, THANK YOU SO MUCH my Friend @runical ... ^_^
It did finally worked after a lot of tries based on Runical and Head_on_a_Stick Advised ...
First I've got a Wired Connection but, the problem still Exist !!

error: failed to commit transaction (download library error)

Which of course meant that my Connection still not Working. so, I went to the other solutions and tried to set the wireless connection Without Internet. and I was trying to recognize why it cannot access the (wlp3s0) Network using

 ip list

command. and turns out that it has nothing to do with my Real One (wlp0s26u1u3). and even the Ethernet one (enp3s0). so, after " I got a Hit " as the Wiki says I've tried every single Method under the Section " Establish an internet connection "... and Eventually Worked out like Magic !! - even if it's too late ! - so, just to be Honest I was a little bit Confused and Stressed . and that's maybe why I was saying stupid things ! ... lastly, my Apologize to the Whole Team for this Mess but, I got to say that you've to try being more Patient with us as Newbies ... like the way of Mr.Runical ... ^_^

Re: Restore Windows Bootloader ! ... [SOLVED]

No problem, just make sure that when asking a question, you stay calm and remember that people on the forum are trying to help, so help them help you. Please read the link jasonwryan posted earlier (and read the forum etiquette!). Don't expect the same treatment the next time round if you keep on making the same mistakes.

Other than that, what is the status now? You mention it working like magic, but does that mean that your problem is now solved? If so, please mark the post as solved.
