xf86-video-intel segfaulting

Hi!

Yesterday i ugpraded xf86-video-intel to 2.99.917-6. After that, X does not start. Here is the log: http://pastie.org/10242540
I already tried to change AccelMethod, but nothing happens.
I had to downgrade.

I'll leave it here for now: someone else will just start another otherwise... wink

Re: xf86-video-intel segfaulting

My machine is 86x64 fully updated to testing repository. Today, after upgrading some packages, sddm stopped working. I also tried manually startx, or lxdm.
I'm using plasma 5 as a DE.

/var/log/Xorg.0.log has these errors:

Only gdm is working with weston or gnome on weston as a Desktop environment.
I tried enlightenment, mate, gnome, plasma5. I cannot log in to any of those DEs and gdm goes back to login screen.
By the way, I was surprised to discover that weston is doing something at last.

Do you have any idea of what could be the problem with my machine?
I tried downgrading xorg to xorg-server-1.17.1-5-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz  but nothing changed. (Right now xorg-server-1.17.1-7-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz  is installed).

Re: xf86-video-intel segfaulting

I just had the same problem after updating my installation and "solved" it by downgrading the just updated mesa packages. Surely no permanent solution but for now I'm at least able to work. Seems like there's something broken with the newest version of mesa, but atm I have no time to figure out what it is.

Edit: Ok, just had 5 minutes to take a little closer look. The problem is in the xf86-video-intel package. I got a backtrace if anyone is interested.
When I/someone else has more time, we should probably submit a bug report.
