First, I'm a total noob.
Second, I installed a game with wine, left clicked setup and chose open with "wine windows program loader", everything went just fine.
Then I tried to start the game right clicking on shortcut and selecting the same open with but I just got "there is no windows program configured to open this type of file".
Ok, me being such a noob that I am and not knowing what that means I tried to start the program in terminal, but got this message:
[pc@localhost ck2]$ wine ck2game.exe

So, the question is - what do I need for wine to work properly?
Any help would be seriously appreciated
EDIT: I have added the exe in winecfg-applications

Are you starting this from X?
Are the resolution settings for that application correct? I got a similar error when trying to start an application set for 1280x1024 resolution on a 1440x900 monitor .

Thanks, but I figured it out by googling. Found this thread.
