Hi all,
I wanted to practice some web development and explore Facebook's React UI framework. It turns out the framework is awesome! I was able to put together a site in 2 hours or so that displays a variety of Arch Linux news feeds. The feeds will automatically refresh when they are updated. This site uses Google's Ajax API (and cached feeds) so the feeds are not entirely up-to-date...but they're close. This is just a learning project but I figured I'd share for any feedback or since some might find it interesting.
The site uses React for the UI, Bootstrap (and the united theme) for styling, and a bit of JQuery. I hope to add comments soon. For you webdevs out there, I highly recommend checking out React...it was a joy to work with.
So, here it is: Arch Linux Digest
Edit: here is the link to the source on GitHub
