Weird Thunar behavior [XFCE]

I'm facing a weird behavior on my thunar look and the way folders appears on it. It's not big deal but I feel like  having an OCD and each time this happen I go crazy!!

So this first picture is the way my /home folder looks when I open Thunar:

Then I press 'ctrl+H' twice and it look like this:

Anybody knows why this is happening? or what can I do to keep Thunar as the second picture shows?

As far as I know that always has happened.
- Workaround: press F5
-Proper solution: file a bug report.

Yeah, I'm afraid Thunar's behaved like that for years. No idea why.

That's really weird, but well... I thought it was some kind of particular bug happening just to me. Thx for your help!

Resizing the window to make it slightly bigger solves this issue for me

Re: Weird Thunar behavior [XFCE]

This might not be useful knowledge but the spacing between icons in Thunar seems to depend on the length of the file names in a directory. If I display hidden files in my home dir, I'll see files like ".xfce4-session.verbose-log", whose names are longer than the common user dir names. Hiding the files again will not cause Thunar to rearrange the view.

Re: Weird Thunar behavior [XFCE]

You are right Eishorn, I placed a picture with a really long name within my home folder and all the space between folders changed. Kind of weird but well, guess i'll get used to it.
