kernel 4.0.1-1 not loading nic drivers

The kernel is not loading the modules for the nic on my virtual machine.

lspci -v shows the Ethernet controllers

ls /sys/class/net only shows lo

manually trying to insmod the pcnet32 module fails with 'unknown symbol' errors.

I've made a video of the execution of the commands described above.

Re: kernel 4.0.1-1 not loading nic drivers

What are the output of uname -a and of pacman -Qi linux
What is the host OS and which vitalization software are you using (VirtualBox, VMware)?

No joy on the video.  I cannot see it.

Re: kernel 4.0.1-1 not loading nic drivers

Host OS is Windows 8.1. Virtualbox version 4.3.28

I've created screenshots since the video quality was bad.

dmesg

insmod

lspci

pacman -Qi

ls /sys/class/net

uname -a
