Hello,
I was trying to tune the power management settings for my laptop so I installed tlp in place of pm-utils. I started tlp and it seemed to woek but now as soon as I plug/unplug the AC adapter X11 crash (IO fatal error 11). I tried removing tlp but the problem is still there. Do you have any idea ?

I tried removing tlp but the problem is still there.
Did you reboot, or kill the tlp process after unistalling tlp? Otherwise it would still be running in background.

Hello,
Thank you very much for trying to help me. I rebooted multiple times. I reinstalled pm-utils (and removing tlp because they are in conflict).
Do you think I should try to uninstall tlp in "purge mode" ?
thank you,

Hi!
I have the same problem: when plugging or unplugin power cord then X crashes and no possibility to reach any virtual tty. Also, it happens randomly while working as normal with laptop. I have to shutdown laptop and power on again when it happens.
Have you solved it? If so, please share your workaround.
