Hey all,
I'm pretty new to arch. Really loving it so far. This is the first real problem I've ran into and I'm not sure how to proceed.
There was an issue where I had lost my /var directory recently. I quickly replaced my non-existant var folder with a copy from a backup I had made ~2 weeks ago. The only difference, which I can remember, is I have since installed the libreoffice-fresh package. After replacing the directory, pacman seemed to be working correctly again. I am now able to query all installed packages, besides libreoffice-fresh.
I tried to redownload libreoffice-fresh to see if that would work, and it had told me (for libreoffice and all dependencies) that the files already exist in the filesystem. I then tried to query the package again, with no luck.
How can I get pacman to recognize that I have this package installed on my machine?
Thank you for your time!
-MrNex
*Edit*
I should add that I followed the instructions here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … l_database However, after grepping the resulting files.list pkglist and pkglist.orig for 'libre' there were no results, so I did not proceed.

Look at the --dbonly flag for pacman.
EDIT: And welcome to the Arch forums.
