Hi,
I'm trying to use my Dell 3415 at 3440x1440 using the Intel HD P4600 (Xeon E3-1225 v3). According to the Intel spec sheet this resolution is supported via displayport. xrandr shows the right resolution but as soon as I switch to it the display goes blank.
xrandr Output:

I bet it works with 58.97 Hz, according to your xrandr output. The resolutions are usually reported by the display, so it seems your display is fine with that refresh rate. I just wouldn't want to play a console game like that, the tearing might be weird.
