[SOLVED] Horizontal stripes on icons and windows

Hi Arch Users,

Im facing an annoying problem with the look of icons and windows on my desktop. Since a few updates ago I can see horizontal stripes on them (see attached file). The latest update doesnt fix it and I do not have a clear clue what to do about it. Searched through the forum already but havent found an unambiguous answer. Could you please advise?

Re: [SOLVED] Horizontal stripes on icons and windows

Graphics card and driver? Have you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki for your card? Looked in xorg's log or your journal?

Moving to NC...

Re: [SOLVED] Horizontal stripes on icons and windows

According to the log, you're using sna, try switching to uxa: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … SNA_issues

According to the log, you're also using an old xorg-server and kernel. Read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xo … leshooting and doublecheck if you pasted the latest log.
