[SOLVED] nzbget won't start

Hello all,

I'm trying to get nzbget running, following the wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NZBGet

When I start nzbget, I get the following:

$  sudo -u nzbget /usr/bin/nzbget -c /usr/local/share/nzbget/nzbget.conf

FATAL ERROR: Nzb-file or Url not specified

the configuration file exists, and I've changed the directories in the config to point to the destination.

I've confirmed that the nzbget user can traverse the directories, and it can.

I'm not sure where to look, except the one place: http://forum.nzbget.net/viewforum.php?f=3&start=800

which as of this writing is currently offline.

Any ideas where I could look to help solve this?

thanx

https://github.com/nzbget/nzbget/wiki/Console-mode

Or be more careful when copying commands from the wiki.

Re: [SOLVED] nzbget won't start

Thanx, I added the -S and now it appears to launch but I get this:

ERROR   Binding socket failed for 0.0.0.0: ErrNo 98, Address already in use
ERROR   Binding socket failed for 0.0.0.0: ErrNo 98, Address already in use

repeated over and over.

not sure what to check. any ideas?

Re: [SOLVED] nzbget won't start

Solved. Followed steps from http://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments … t_does_it/ to troubleshoot and found what else was on that port. changed port in config file and started right up.
now to determine why I can't bring up the web interface, which is pointing to the correct port.
