Installing SELinux - libselinux: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem

Hello, I'm trying to install SELinux. I've been following the guide on wiki and decided to install it from unofficial  repository. However I have problems as soon as I try to install pam.

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Someone had the same problem with aur package and posted a solution to modify paths in pkgbuild https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libselinux/
But I prefer to use the repository, especially since I can't use yaourt.

the unofficial repo you use needs updating.
You can try contacting the repo maintainer and alert them to this problem & solution.

Ok, thanks I will.

Then my only option is to use AUR. I will probably have to edit paths in makepkg, as this is from the same maintainer. It's a shame there's no normal working way to install SELinux without any hacks. I wish SELinux was in official repo.

I have question regarding installing it from the aur.

Can I use yaourt to install packages that are not pam, pambase and sudo?

Or maybe I will try installing libselinux from aur and the rest from repository, but it's probably not the only package that has to be updated.

Kox,

the aur selinux packages by IooNag appear to be uptodate . (AUR libselinux package has been adjusted to work with usr/bin instead of usr/sbin ).
AUR is in a state of flux atm, and the latest versions of packages are in AUR4, https://aur4.archlinux.org/ .

In a few weeks (august 8 iirc) , aur3 will be transferred to a separate read-only location.
At that time aur4.archlinux.org will be transferred to aur.archlinux.org .

I don't use aur helpers myself, so no idea if yaourt can deal with packages from aur4 or if it's ready for aur4 becoming the only AUR.

I'm inclined to advise you to build things manually or wait  a few weeks.

At one point selinux was supported in repos, but there were to many problems with it.
There's an extensive thread about it on arch-dev-public Mailing list.
