[SOLVED] TV connected to laptop just shows xfce logo

Hi

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E135 laptop connected to a Sony TV through HDMI. The TV only shows the blue default background with the little mouse in the middle, no icons. I tried

xrandr --output HDMI-0 --auto

HDMI-0 is the device shown in xrandr, and when I go to the Display settings in xfce I can identify the TV, which works. But it doesn't show any programs, pointer, etc.

Any input (well in this case, output, to be litterate hehe) is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

EDIT: Fixed it by switching HDMI channel on the TV.
