MacBook Air 2013 Persistent USB Installation

Hi all!

I have created a Arch USB key (8gb) for using with my macbook air. The key was created successfully I assume because I am able to boot into Arch by holding the (Option Key) on the mac right after it turns on. Now it puts me into a terminal (tty1) and that is where i am stuck. What i am trying to do is create a full desktop environment (KDE perhaps) that uses all the possible resources of my MBA, like Wifi, sound, graphics, multitouch, webcam, bluetooth etc.

thanks in advanced!

Side question. Are we "Archers" us Arch users?

Maria.

Re: MacBook Air 2013 Persistent USB Installation

Did you follow the beginner's guide to install?  If so, did you see the post install section at the bottom that answers the first part of your question?

There are also pages specifically for macbooks.

Please follow those first, then ask questions if you need anything clarified or if something doesn't work.

EDIT: mod note, moved to N.C.
