[SOLVED] ALSA volumes change unexpectedly

Hey everyone,

I have been looking all over for a topic covering this issue, but it really seems like I'm the only one to have it, so here it is.
I'm using Arch Linux with an i3 WM, and I mostly use alsamixer to play around with my volumes etc, but I have had this issue ever since I installed Arch on this machine, with Openbox at the time. There are a few keyboard shortcuts I have to use when using i3 or Openbox (mod+return to open a terminal, for example), and a lot of them are for some reason mapped to some alsa setting which resets all levels to default. This has created a few uncomfortable encounters in my (shared) office when I opened a terminal and suddenly the music started blaring out of my speakers instead of my headphones. I tried looking at my xbindkeys config, or my i3 keymapping config, but none of it points to anything, and I have to say I'm thoroughly confused. Does anyone have any idea of where this could be coming from?

##EDIT : I had a line in my .zshrc which was causing the issue. Excuse the needless post.###

Well, so could you reveal the contents of that line which was causing the issue?
