Shutdown Hangs

I have been working on arch on my Macbook Pro 11,5 and up to the recent updates shutdown does not work

I have tried every single reboot flag and have debugging turned on to the maximum level. I know the system is possible to shutdown from inside linux because I manually tested out the CF9 PCI Reset method, but when using the reboot=pci flag it still does not shutdown.

The system hangs at "acpi_power_off called"

I can post more information if necessary, or at least need methods to debug in more detail than maximum kernel debug output.
