zenity html?

I know that zenity can display html, just not the version in the repos.

Can someone suggest how to compile this with html available?  I've done some simple compiles in the past, but on deb-based distros.

I'd also consider a way to ask the maintainers, if there is a polite way to do so.

I want to pipe mediainfo html output into zenity for a quick display of information using a custom action in Thunar.

Aloha.

I'm not sure about HTML, but zenity supports the Pango markup format.

For how to compile Arch packages, you may want to read the article on makepkg.

Re: zenity html?

zenity needs to be compiled with webkitGTK in order to display html, just not sure how to do it or make it properly recognized in Arch as installed.

I'll read that article, thanks!

Also check out the ABS to see how to recompile official arch packages with your different options.
