System wakes immediately upon suspend

I know this is an old topic, but I haven't found a real solution.

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=93957

The "solution" here is to disable usb on suspend and re-enable it on wake.  This is not a good solution, as I would like to use usb keyboard/mouse to resume the system.  However, whenever I allow my logitech receiver to wake, a la:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1968487&page=2

It only sleeps for 1 second and wakes up.  Is waking from USB not an option?

Re: System wakes immediately upon suspend

There are many factors why a system would wake up immediately after suspending.  Why don't you start by posting your logs and a mixture of tests to isolate what is your true cause of waking up?  Then the community could perhaps point you further down the road to a solution.

While we are at it, please don't copy and paste solutions that worked on a different distro from 2012... unless you fully understand it and know how to modify it to Arch and your specific system.

Re: System wakes immediately upon suspend

I installed pm-utils and here is the log.  There doesn't seem to be anything explicitly identifying the source of the resume.  I'll remove the file in rules, reboot, and post that log as well.

Re: System wakes immediately upon suspend

Without the entry in /etc/udev/rules.d, it looks pretty much identical, but now it no longer resumes immediately but I must physically push the power button on the case to get it to resume.

Re: System wakes immediately upon suspend

This is the kernel log for a suspend when the udev rule is removed.  It seems to work normally, push power button to resume, but will not wake from wireless logitech keyboard/mouse.
