Hey guys,
Today my system started to freeze randomly, and all I can do it press the power button to reboot it.
I've seen this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=132829
I get no flashing keyboard, I cannot switch ttys, the mouse gets loses power shortly after, no Caps-Lock led when toggling the key.
There's nothing concerning in the journal or Xorg.log
I haven't received any important updates lately, kernel is 4.1.4-1-ARCH.
Please help me out, thanks

So, I've actually found something useful in the journal..
It seems that I was using pacman/yaourt when it happened. The 3 times it happened, it happened in the same circumstances..

Had to reinstall. It doesn't seem to happen anymore..we'll see how things roll

As a follow-up: about 1 week before this happened, I've downgraded the 'systemd' and 'systemd-sysvcompat' packages, and I've just realized that I forgot to downgrade 'libsystemd'. I really hope that was the cause... marking this for now

Hey.
The hard drive indicator did not flash at all. If yours flashes and the system freezes, your hdd might be dying. Try checking it for 'Relocated sectors count':

After all, it seems to be related to i915.enable_fbc=1. When resuming from screen blanking with fbc enabled, the system would freeze shortly after. Disabling fbc seems to fix it.
