pacur - simple packaging

Pacur is a tool for creating Linux packages across several Linux distributions using a spec file with a format similar to PKGBUILD on ArchLinux. A tutorial is available on medium and the source code is available in the GitHub repo.

Tools like dpkg can't do anything with tarballs built with makepkg. See it as a local version of for example, the opensuse build service.

I haven't looked at the code yet, but it looks like a promising abstraction.
