Situation:
I got workstation and laptop. I want to migrate my arch install between both easily.
Hardware:
Workstation: amd fx8350 + nvidia gtx 550 ti
Laptop: intel i7 + intel integrated graphics + gtx 960m (optimus)
Problem:
No idea how to get X start on laptop because of driver/hw incompatibility. I can not use nouveau driver because it freezes on workstation seconds after boot so im stuck with nvidia proprietary driver. Current setup works on workstation. If i move my hdd to laptop X wont start due to crash somewhere in nvidia-libgl. It tries to use nvidia libgl with intel integrated graphics.
Question:
Is there any way to get nvidia proprietary driver work side-by-side w/ intel opensource driver? Separate boot option in bootloader would be ok too if it comes to that.
