Mplayer lagging and opening twice!

When i wanna stream from 24ur.com or rtvslo.si or other pages mplayer dont play streams .. or play it twice at the same time! Its lagging, i cant watch any streaming videos, but i wanna use mplayer for that.

I have DSL connection and mplayer as player works fine with all files.

I have the same problem too. It doesn't work with Konqueror and doesn't work correct with Firefox.
BTW: about one month or less ago was okay.

maybe bug? But i dont think so..iam using mplayer-plugin with firefox..and dont work  :x

Anyone have / has the same problem, or just two of us?

With Firefox works on my computer. I have a problem with Konqueror.

I forgot, my broyher has SuSE 10.0 and works with Konqueror and Firefox....

I'm also annoyed by the not workin mplayer. I begun the invastigation

$ pacman -Qs mplayer
local/mplayer 1.0pre7-6

I'll try to find some expamples which movies on WWW work which don't:

i think only the problem is when page is using rtsp and mms at the same time.

apple treilers works perfect.

when mplayer-plugin opens twice:

/usr/share/fonts/TTF/comic.ttf doesn't look like a font description, ignoring.
Cannot load font: /usr/share/fonts/TTF/comic.ttf

in /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf put this line:
font=/etc/mplayer/font/subfont.ttf
And copy there your font.
mplayer seems to not follow the symlinks, and you suppose to have a symlink.

mms:// links aren't workin

I still cant get away this error with font!

i said that videos, which using mms and rtsv at same time dont work, or opens two mplayers.

This is not an error, only a communiacate. Mplayer firs checks if its a fond desc and then if it's a TTF font.
It's OK.

Give a link to such sites with mms and rtsv

Video is oK, sound is double because is mplayer is being run 2 times. When run htop i can see 2 processes. I kill one of them and the sound is OK. Try it.
I think the site code is not ok.

I did check at work with Debian computer and 214ur and rtv works with Mozilla on Gnome and Mozilla and Firefox on KDE, on Windows computer works too.

With Arch at home It doesn't work with Konqueror, with Firefox works but problem is sound. As I wrote It did works before but after update (I don't know which) It stopped...

I tried (ARCH) 24ur.com with Firefox and mplayer open four(4) times...

I think it's related to mplayer (not mplayer-plugin).

I compiled mplayer-cvs and it's not playing. Mplayer-plugin shows Buffering %% and the Stop. And I can do nothing to make it run.
I think mplayer dev are working on it...
