[SOLVED]Flush curent prompt (CTRL+u)

Hi everyone !

I got a question smile

Some times I can type some long text in my shell and it's long to press the backspace touch to delete all the text.
So is there a keyboard shortcut which have the same behavior than CTRL+L but also erase the input line of the shell ?

Thanks, Dotty.

Assuming you are using the default settings in bash: Ctrl-u

C-_ or C-x C-u
Undo the last editing command. You can undo all the way back to an empty line.
