[request] llvm-svn with Radeonsi si scheduler patch

Could someone please create a PKGBUILD and patch to build llvm-svn with Radeonsi si scheduler patch? I've tried to generate the patch from git commit myself and applying, but I couldn't do that properly.

Here is an article to get the idea what I'm talking about: www.linuxsystems.it/2015/08/radeonsi-with-si-scheduler-humiliates-catalyst-in-all-tests/
(Use google cache if it doesn't open for you)
And the commit: https://github.com/axeldavy/llvm/commit … 67325ad88a

Thanks in advance.

I built a package a few days ago, but after installation, my DE would no longer work.

Re: [request] llvm-svn with Radeonsi si scheduler patch

Okay, so it seems that the problem was incompatible versions of mesa-git and llvm-svn. Installing a newer version of mesa-git from AUR resolved the issue with the desktop environment not loading, and everything works beautifully.

I modified the llvm-svn package from the AUR to add this patch, you can find the package here: https://github.com/jakogut/llvm-svn-sisched-aur.

I'd submit it to the AUR, but this patch will probably be mainlined soon.

Could I play bioshock infinity with your patched llvm package?

Excuse my poor English.

Re: [request] llvm-svn with Radeonsi si scheduler patch

It doesn't work for me with radeonsi, even with MESA_EXTENSION_OVERRIDE=GL_ARB_copy_image, but if you have an Nvidia card, it might work.

Then again, I doubt you'll get usable performance out of Nouveau.

I am using radeonsi. Anyways, to launch Bioshock Infinity mesa should be patched, not llvm.

Has anything been done about this? Is it already integrated?

hpstg, check the link in agapito post .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I was wondering about the si scheduler integration, not Bioshock Infinite, sorry if I didn't make it clear.
