Qt windows all jumbled, libc segfault

After recent update, sometimes some of the Qt-based application windows get all jumbled and usuable.
Only thing that helps is restarting X.

I've also noticed a segfault, which might be related:
net[9559]: segfault at 0 ip 00007ffa38c72bda sp 00007ffc14290378 error 4 in libc-2.22.so[7ffa38be2000+19b000]

What can I do to pinpoint the problem better?

Re: Qt windows all jumbled, libc segfault

There's an openjdk7 memory leak, which affects other applications, you should switch to openjdk8 or downgrade openjdk7

The intel microcode may also help with random issues like this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Microcode

Re: Qt windows all jumbled, libc segfault

I've switched to openjdk8 and the issue seems to have gone, but I'll wait some more to confirm...

Thanks!

EDIT: The jumbling seems to have gone, the segfault is still there. Oh well...
