Aura stops midway, aur down?

I can't seem to use aur through aura (aura-bin) lately. The particular system has been shutdown a little while but used to work really nice.
Pacman works just fine and it is properly up to date wrt standard packages.

Output from aura when it stalls for a long time and then can't connect is:

Can't copy the text over x2go to mac laptop (sorry...)

.
. packages listing
.
aura: FailedConnectionException "aur4.archlinux.org" 443

Telnet works fine and pacman did work.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
I did read something about migrating packages to aur4. I did try to download aura-bin manually but the link in aur was dead.

Re: Aura stops midway, aur down?

aura-bin

source=(https://bitbucket.org/fosskers/aura/downloads/${_hkgname}-${pkgver}-${CARCH}.tar.gz)

AurWeb doesn't seem to be able to handle that link correctly .
it should work if you use "download snapshot" and run makepkg or you can manually download the binary from https://bitbucket.org/fosskers/aura/downloads/

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Re: Aura stops midway, aur down?

I tried both the 1.3.2 manual download but that seems to be the same as the one I already have.
The snapshot is hard to determine the version, it says the same 1.3.2 from aura -V so I can't really tell.

Is aura/aura-bin still maintained? It can't even install the other haskell deps needed to install the non -bin version. sad

I really like aura so any tips are welcome. Would prefer to not go back to basics or yaourt or some other tool.

Re: Aura stops midway, aur down?

Actually the fosskers bitbucket version seems incredibly outdated... The last commits are ages ago.
Is it used only for downloads? Can't github provide that as well?

Re: Aura stops midway, aur down?

I've looked at both sites, and although github has most recent commits, it only has 1.2.x releases .
bitbucket seems to have the latest releases.
