I've tried both methods of installing mullvad VPN. With the network manager it works... At first. Then, every 5 minutes or so, my connection stops working, and I have to disconnect and reconnect. This obviously isn't a viable solution. So I tried following the arch wiki

And this just does absolutely nothing. When running "mullvad start" I get a graphical prompt for my password, but when I enter it nothing happens. My IP stays the same. I'm tearing my hair out in frustration here... If anyone could offer any kind of assistance I'd be very grateful.
On Mint I have the mullvad install direct from their website and it works flawlessly.
EDIT: Figured it out myself after waking this morning. I'd just made a really, really stupid mistake due to sleep deprivation. If I don't update this thread it means the 'disconnect every few minutes'-problem with the network manager has also been solved by following the wiki.
